Battery on the Tern died just as I got to the childminder after me forgetting to charge it then hyper-miling all the way in. It is really NOT designed to be ridden without assistance. Not a fun 3 miles home.
no e-cargo bike is, weight was something I looked at when I bought the Tern, its still the lightest. UA is 50kg, R+M are more than 50kg !
External gears are ok, if you've got an igh and belt drive your gonna make it, but it's gonna be unfun
