Can we just agree nuclear isn’t a good idea. Imo 100% not renewable. Despite what edf says

Yes.
Tidal power, which we don’t use at all, could generate way more energy. Expensive but not as expensive as nuclear once you consider disposal. And a lot less risky. And then there’s the sun. We really are at the infant stage of technology to harvest it directly.

I thought that the theoretical tidal installations that could generate huge amounts of power have to be on tidal estuaries and really fuck with fish, dolphins, whales etc.
