^not the attitude of a top 10 nationally ranked rider

Genuine top ten ranked riders should be at the opening National Trophy round, no?
-
• #9504
I didnt race last week so I'm now not top 10...

Maximum points yesterday will have boosted your ranking.

Anyway, I was just checking the calendar and noticed that entries for Muddy Hell are now open:

I've not seen much publicity yet, but had heard it was definitely back on the calendar.

I suspect that they will be far outweighed by Nat Trophy points and I can stay anonymous and try and make hay when the hitters are away!

I think they are just finalising the last few details before shouting about it.
The course designer has been appointed for a while now...

Blast from the past. Awesome.

You, I guess? EDIT: Can we expect a giant tabletop, wallride and grave whoops?

Yup!

Thought I’d hit here before general posting tomorrow. Barely used Crux in small rolling on Hunts.
Partners, but she’s ridden it about 5 times.
Will be looking for about £750

Epic start to my season today. Felt crap at the start of western league round 5. Was starting to get a feel for my bike when I flatted on a rock 30 min in. Not a great day at the races. Jon looked solid in 3rd. Simon Richardson cruised to the win

A mate of mines son had his first race today in Southampton. He’s 5 :)

I snapped my chain on the opening lap of my race today. Had to wait for the rest of the field to pass before I could retrieve it, then could only find one half of the quick link, so had roll down the hill to the pits and dig out the spare from my bag. Couldn't be arsed to slog my guts out to come 60th so DNF'd.

Hope he won some Haribo.

Good course but many many punctures on those rocks. Felt good for 30 minutes then terrible for 30 minutes. Probably should do some actual training.

Training is cheating.
There was just no way of avoiding the rocks/roots. I basically just went with the technique of going at them as fast I could and trying unweight the bike. It worked....until it didn't

Too much power!
Was it the quicklink?
-
• #9520
Got a bit giddy as I was passing people I wanted to beat.
And yes, it was the quick link.

First Freddie and now yours, perhaps we should stick to FGSS

I was waiting until it got properly muddy before switching to the singlespeed.
Yesterday's course is a tough one to do singlespeed, as the gear range used is quite wide, especially for the London League.

Well, yes. That section from the drop off at the top to the pits is just perfect though. Such good fun to take at speed.

Just popping by to say 3 Peaks is pish.
As are tubular punctures although that’s massively unrelated and from good cross races.
Nah, I'm looking forward to puncturing at Herne Hill
