  • I’ve ridden this Roberts (to test ride after a service) with a 50/40/30 chainset, I have to says I genuinely miss a good triple, that gearing would be 100% perfect for alpine climb.

  • Give it a few years dude. Triples will be back. Or at least doubles.
    So easy to set up. So little problems, so many gears.

    That’s the thing, only recently I was able to get a triple to work with the trims and zero chain rub (Sora triple for example), I always expected a little chain rub or two but zero on the modern triple.

    Plus, with 11+ speed, there’s very little need for it nowadays when it offer a big range without a massive gap between each sprocket, having said that, would be great to have an almost straight block with a triple 11 speed drivetrain.
