Assume so, 3 pictures in total and 2 of them wheels by themselves doesn't help but looks a reasonable deal for someone. Quirky frame for sure

Cannondale Silk Road, Medium with bizarre clip on TT bars
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325380964606edit - and a massive dunt in the top tube, not a bargain

Ah, missed the edit :)

Hard to call £2.5k a bargain but it’s a lovely frame with new paint, Red etap, Schmolke wheels and a full eurocarbon parts list. Want.

fantastically tall person
There ought to be a bigger wheel size for these persons, to stop their frames looking so wrong.

32ers (that doesn't sound right) have, apparently, also been done.

That looks a bit... whippy.
Edit: reply fail. Meant in response to the large boi

Ooooof nice, added to watch list

Funny thing, I saw some wheels at an antique shop over the weekend that were 32s, or at least measured 32” across. The hubs had quite large nuts on the axles, and no guarantee that they were actually bike wheels.

This is exciting. I've never seen a really big road frame with upsized wheels. I wonder if framebuilders ever make them?
-
• #66194
Tyres would be the issue. Maybe they could use penny farthing sized wheels?
-
• #66195
Unicycle tyres come in large diameters (eg: 36”). do penny farthings even use pneumatic tyres?
-
• #66196
No, solid, with a block of wood to push on it to brake.
-
• #66197
Also, not that anyone asked but its quite interesting: the large wheel at the front was available in lots of sizes to fit different heights.

You feel the “people around 7 foot tall” and the “people who are prepared to spend £3.5k on a vintage steel road bike” Venn diagram has a really quite small overlap.

Not sure why but I really love the way 36ers look.
Basically a full bike minus a chain, seatpost/saddle, some cables and bar tape?
