I'm switching to a different frameset, and while I'd love to keep this around for another build, I do need the money/space.
Huge amount of fun to ride and very cool looking!
Great for gravel/all-round/touring/bikepacking/commuting
Here are the specs as I remember them:
4130 steel frame and fork
thru-axle front and rear (included)
rocking dropouts (can be used singlespeed and geared)
threaded bottom bracket
post mount disc brakes front and rear
1-1/8th external headset
27.2 seatpost
external cable routing
1x specific (can be used 2x with stick on cable guides)
45mm x 700c clearence (depending on rim and tyres I think you could get up to a 50mm)
mudguard eyelets
mounted bosses on fork for racks and the like
rack mount on rear stays
2 bottle cage mounts
Geometry is pretty steep, much like track geometry so lots of fun to ride. But should be noted this means there is toe overlap using larger volume tyres.
I have ridden this frameset quite a lot, road and off road. I've fallen off a couple of times but apart from minor scratches to the paint its in good condition.
There is scuffing on the paint on the top tube from using a frame bag, paint is still good but its lost its shine a small bit.
Usual marks from leaning against walls and stuff.
One small note, the fork was warrentied and replaced as it was out of alignment. The fork that is on the bike is totally fine and within tolereances but when I brought the bike in they checked the rear alignment and it was out by 1mm. This is well within tolerances and causes no issues, and is pretty much visually unnoticable, but in the spirit of full disclosure I should say it.
I will add photos which detail the entire frames condition and all marks to the paint.
I can add a black Chris King headset for £50, and the TRP spyres for another £50.
Price for the frameset alone: £485 now £460 now £455
Would prefer London pickup or drop off so you can visually inspect before purchase.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and if you think the price is way out, let me know.
