Truss's "environmental" guy is trying to bombard more solar panel fields, by rezoning of agricultural land and wants to block even Moggs limited plans.

Same one that is going to drop all the EU rules with no replacement AND the improvement* on the EU agricultural policies by adding funds for farmers to green bits of land...

*but as much as the EU agricultural policy can suck some countries do pay farmers for green zone, I wish the government would go much further, slap a land tax on private lands not used for farming/nature etc.

For something that claims to tell us what he thinks, it seems to be remarkably centred on policies implemented by BEIS (and its previous incarnations) that predate his arrival in the department by a decade or so.

I don't know exactly what's going on, perhaps they truly don't have enough work, but this pisses me off.
