I think the 39mm 58 looks a great size on you as well. When i first saw the pelagos 39 i was underwhelmed and thought it just looked really standard but after handling one and trying it on i really liked it so I'd definitely recommend trying one of those on. The new taupe bb58 might be worth a look if you find the red and gold details a bit busy on yours. Both the same price and I'm not sure why the taupe version is more expensive than our version or the blue? It might be even more expensive than that as I've only seen it on a leather or fabric strap so far. Nice though and worth a look if you can find them both locally.

Thanks RB,
For sure the Taupe one is lovely but I do find the colour limiting for a daily watch. Whereas black and white goes with almost everything, even with black tie.
I have made contact with Ernest Jones to see if they have the 39 Pelagos, they also offer 10% discount for newsletter signup.
After sleeping on it, my mind is made up to sell the BB58. I will post on forum later today.

Watch shots that are making you crane your neck….nice colour though.
Bad day to be a bezel in my care this week, dinked the SLA and then a Speedy bezel I bought last week got signed for by another house on my street without my knowledge because the seller didn’t give me the tracking.
Thankfully the resident didn’t flog or bin it and now it’s returned but it did make me sweat.
Air-King today with the flattest of fours.
Versatility does come in to it for sure.
Part of my fondness for the Pelagos is that in my mind I think it a little smarter the then BB58 and so suit my attire from casual to formal.
I wear a suit maybe once, twice a year and so something that comfortable in smart casual setting.
While I really like the hits of gold, the red triangle I also feel the many colours can be a bit much. Where as the Pelagos is essentially black and white (apart from red text on the face) and this does feel a little smarter.
