BC is cycle sports governing body. It oversees all , well almost all, cycle sport in the UK

Well, yes? It's also a campaigning organisation.

Edit- although I suspect those pages are going to be scrapped as they still reference HSBC. I'll look forward to BC's new campaigning, sponsored by Shell.

My point was that it's primary role is as a governing body for the sport. It's not set up to be a campaigning body about climate change.
