Fits you perfectly I'd say - the pelagos has a much longer lug to lug so may well overhang your wrists. I also think the BB58 is more versatile than the pelagos, and could more easily be worn in smarter settings. The pelagos is more of a true tool watch and (for me) more casual.
But as people have said - at the end of the day you should choose the watch you want and don't worry too much about what other people say.
Dear fellow horologists,
I have now owned a very lovely Tudor Black Bay 58 for a few months now and I am having some serious concerns.....
Is this watch too small for my wrist (19cm)?
Do I prefer a Pelagos?
While the 'right' size of the watch against my wrist is subjective, I do think I find it a bit too small for my liking.
I went in to my local dealer this morning to try on the Pelagos, sold the last one on Tuesday, so I tried on the 41mm Royal. I did find the larger size more pleasing.
I am pretty convinced I prefer the Pelagos...but I still find myself slightly unsure.
I will need to sell one to fund the other so there is no question of buying an additional watch.
Is there any defining advice (anecdotal or otherwise) which my fellow horologists can impart to help me decide either way?
