I never saw the op, but in the mid 2010s you were looking at >£20k for a marquee wedding in a field in the UK for 70-100 guests.

If you want to reduce costs with those numbers you need to find a venue that does mates rates - local sailing club, church hall, etc. or go abroad. The UK is beyond ridiculous.

Go abroad and watch your guest list plummet by at least 50%.

Plus 90ppl is a much better number as well as saving costs.

Have a friend who invited i and my ex to their wedding.

They want it in New Zealand.

Only 15% went.
