I am also here to piss on Alex Jones. Long may paying back nearly $1bn last!
-
• #78581
He's already been ordered to pay some millions to the families. The real work now is if they can get him on the obvious false declaration of bankruptcy and dodgy use of company funds.

I hope Alex Jones rots in an eternal hell.
This judgement will be tough to enforce, he has likely hidden away most assets.
His true fans, like MTG, already interpret the judgement as proof of their oppression for speaking out against the deep state.
Damage done by Jones is incalculable and cuts across all society. It’s not just Sandy Hook, it’s the normalization of fantasy and delusion. -

What will it take to knock some of the sublime sense of entitlement out of Tory gammons? I think that should be a priority 😆
-
• #78588
I suspect power outages will have them losing their shit very quickly.

If your local gammon is teetering on the edge, mention that of the major UK energy suppliers, the following are European-owned:
EDF - France
ScottishPower - Spain
E.On - Germany -

I thought James O'Brien's take on Suella was iffy but she does really seem to be a bit broken.
"Children of immigrants who despise other immigrants probably shouldn’t be in charge of immigration policy. They often seem to be dealing with personal issues that shouldn’t be anywhere near the political space."

This feels like it's straight out the Onion.

Fucking hell. Our modern slavery legislation and management is basically the only good thing the Tories have done in the last 12 years. Apparently we are the gold standard.
-
• #78593
So none of us are entitled to a reliable energy supply? Cos that's sublime entitlement? :)
Because that seems to be the point he's making that blackouts are good. Ok then what's good for the goose is good for the gammon :p

Adam Werrity and the disgraced Liam Fox got the band back together for COVID contracts
https://twitter.com/RussellScott1/status/1580540529737338880
"Last month we revealed how Liam Fox MP lobbied on behalf of Surescreen. Surescreen went on to land a £500m gov Covid contract. Surescreen than donated £20k to Fox.
@GoodLawProject can now reveal Adam Werritty - A close friend of Fox was working for Surescreen" -

We had a power cut the other night after the kids were asleep. No heat, lights, TV, broadband or mobile signal.
It was fucking miserable and we just went to bed.

I'll cut the power to this cunt's house and see how much resilience and emotional fortitude he's really got. Will probably reveal that he's more of an entitled privileged prick than any youngster other than his own.

May had the same hang-up when she had the HO as brief: Cut immigration, whatever way possible, hostile environment, windrush followed and most people are STILL waiting on their payout for that :(
And then did the occasional progressive thing. She has a weird mix of damaging and progressive behavior...
The Cons really seem to have talked themselves into "just cut immigration" for well over a decade, though the rot set in at the end of Labour too.
So this to me looks like another horrid and damaging way they try to cut immigration.
As if being enslaved/trafficked/being a refugee is anything like "ooh there's a job going to get a visa" immigration...but they don't seem to want to get that. Or maybe they DO and they pick on the least powerful immigrants.
Well, ok then, close the borders completely and see how it goes...

They're not even good bribes.
