Blimey. I've got custody of a 40' x 20' canvas marquee (seats about 100) that comes out once every year or so. Clearly I should be making some cash from it.
On the other hand van hire and fuel was about £550 and you need half a dozen big people to put it up/take it down safely and if it comes down wet you have a massive problem so the £3k is starting to look reasonable. I had the advantage of volunteers doing it for da yoof.
