Thanks!
ignoring 6 degree stem commentsI had a bolt on cog lying around and thought i'ld give it a go.
The rear brake is more fo sho then real use; it's a legal requirement here in Germany.
Already and some difficulty with zee law here in Berlin regarding a rear brake and decided I don't want the hassle.
The cog threading has the right direction to take the brake forces too.
So I have a better cog mount, and no downside regarding the disc mount.
The disc is a bit far out though, and with the combination of the disc mount in the inner triangle of the frame was a bit of a faff setting up but now works.I'll give the comments about the stem a ponder though; I have a 6 degree 120mm lying around.
Reminds me I also should install a bell; let's have a rummage in the spares.
Nice build!
I'd also change the stem for a 6 degree one though.
I'm curious: Why did you not mount the disc onto the 6 bolt side and the cog onto the threaded side of the hub?
