WTB: Alfine 8 Spd Hub and Shifter. Can be hub only or already built into a wheel.

Thanks for the photos. Is the hub the disc brake model?

It’s not disc brake it has the internal hub brake

Could you send a photo of the non drive side of the hub. I think it should have splines for a CL rotor but I might be wrong. Who should I pm about coming for a viewing/price?

I can get you a pic possibly later today but I can’t imagine it takes a rotor as the brake is already built in

It’s non braking iirc- I used it in a bike with rim brakes

Correct there’s no brake in the hub and it’s non disc
model no. SD 57000-8

Hey there!

I think this is a disc hub. If you remove the rubber on the end there it should reveal your centrelock disc fitting.

Non disc hubs look quite different like the image below, notice how the hub body doesnt have the dips before the flanges.

Also if Spaniel doesnt want it, I would be interested!

Thanks @Noblebikes! I had it in my head all Alfine models were disc compatible but didn’t realise they covered up the splines with a little rubber sleeve if not used.
