There was so much referee fatalism and complaining at the Emirates last season. Funny how the grumbling stops when you're winning and get the occasional ref call going your way. The ref did us a few favours yesterday.

We were way off the pace yesterday, you could argue re the penalty but that's not why we're where we are in the league. Not seen anyone on here blaming the ref, beyond the rabid arsenal fan!

I like that these aren't being given these days. The pen we got in the CL final vs Spurs was pretty ridiculous. That era of 'ball-touch-hand-in-box = pen' was awful.
