my humble submission to the folk of the dale.
First bike build, absolutely got high on degreaser and took way too many things apart that didn't need taking apart. I'm hooked, this is problematic.
Bought F+F, best I can tell it's a Y2K R600. found the Coda wheels on ebay. Cannondale went black with all the gubbins around that time, but I wanted silver, so I replaced some components, sanded and polished others (eagle-eyes may spot that I haven't got round to the rear spokes yet). Would have been 105 5500 kit originally, but I got lucky with a bargain DA7700 groupset on the classifieds.

Nice color and wheels!
Saddle should be (more or less) horizontal and the bars should be rotated down like this

Bought this recently and itโs the first cannondale Iโve owned. Might not be the most practical bike with the stem being slammed but love it

Does anyone have any experience/advice on fitting the Wheels manufacturing or Token BB conversion kits to their PF30A frames? I want to use my DA9100 chainset on a 2019 Supersix evo.....

Sorta. I've used the bb30a one on a caad12 from wheels mfg. It works well, not much more to it.

Cheers all, they appear to make 2 types for the PF30A, an outboard ABEC3 and an angular type, I can't understand the difference or which one I'd need, I've sent an email asking for clarification unless anyone knows the answer......

Angular contact bearings are better at dealing with axial loads than a normal deep groove ball bearing so should have better longevity.
They however generally have more friction and can be noisier.

Great info, thanks.

I my experience the praxis ome is better for alloy bb shells. The wheels mfg is more suited to carbon shells.

I had the relatively posh c-bear ceramic one on a CAAD12 disc. Worked fine, no complaints

Yep, easy process. I used a large G clamp and a couple of bits of wood to drift the NDS cup in and then BB tool to tighten up the DS cup. I didn't need two BB tools in the end ๐

• #15671
Yes it can even be done by hand in some cases, only one bb tool is necessary. Really depends on the roundness and dia of the bb shell

I use the Token BB on my current bike. Works as it should and installation is a doddle!

Cheers all, Wheels Manufacturing outboard type ordered for my Supersix.

Too slow I see, but I had one of these: https://www.wiggle.co.uk/token-ninja-cannondale-bb30a-shimano-24mm-bottom-bracket
Plastic installation tools made of cheese (and not included). Be gentle.
Might still even be in the frame, @bigshape may confirm.
Pic for pics sake, I miss this one. ๐๐
