From memory quite a large percentage of nurses wanted to strike several years ago but the RCN rolled over for the government. My wife joined GMB after that because they wanted to pressure for a realistic payrise. They have been fucked over pay for many years.

Nurses are clearly part of the “anti-growth coalition” even if they’d never heard of it before Truss introduced the term yesterday.
I’m expecting it to appear in a Sarah Vi E/Alistair Heath column as Antigr before the month is out
