Shimano PRO dd12 stem to go with Dura Dyna 12 speed group.

Thought about this, but can’t find any that has a -10 degree or deeper angle.
Also 120-130mm stem length with 360-380mm wide bars. Also ideally the stem would be -14/15 which is practically impossible to find. (Zipp is -12)

Hmm, should I get an Aldhu carbon crankset...

Aliexpress handlestem of 31cm on its way. Don’t think it will save much weight, but will see how it goes.
Super heavy Shimano flat pedals are probably not the way to go, so need to find a lighter solution. Either pedals with foot straps or SPDs.
Saddle, skewers, chainset, brakes next.
Carbon saddle seems silly, got some spare ti skewers, and I have a Sram Force 1 PF30 chainset with 50t ring that could go on...

Just can’t help myself, it’s like I am compensating for something. That’s 3 Zipp Sprint SL stems and another Pro Vibe sprint...

So, looking to build 2 cheap hybrid/gravel bikes to leave in France for family bike rides, attach a trailer, go to the market etc.
I’m leaning towards vintage mountain bike with V brakes. Steel frame Konas, for example.
Any recommendations?

Haven’t made many changes to the bikes recently, but have begun to get out on the bike more.
Look Madison got thrashed about outside after adding a Zipp 130mm sprint stem, Deda carbon bullhorns and Sram S900 TT lever.
About 6.7kg

Thanks, need a better pic though, because the front currently looks like I crashed into something.
Also possibly the 49cm frame… -

I somehow missed all the posts about your sl6, I'm surpised that wee Hopp cover is only twenty odd euros, I'd have believed you if you'd said eighty euros...
I'm obviously now going to order one. Is yours matt or glossy? I'm thinking matt would be better even though my frame has a glossy clear coat. And while I'm here, you don't happen to have any Zipp stem faceplate integrated garmin mounts left over from all those sprint stems by any chance?!

I got the glossy Hopp cover, as the paint is glossy.
Probably easier to buy now, as when I wanted it, it was on back order and the German bike shops were refusing to post to the UK due to brexit…I’ll have a look and see if I have a spare faceplate mount.

Yeah, they are available on r2-bike now for 23 euros!
No worries if you don’t have a spare faceplate mount, just thought I’d chance it before ordering one. -
