Bought a Roadster Sovereign today but it's too small.
Was being sold as a 22.5"but I'm pretty sure it's actually the 20.5. Hard to be certain though as Pashley aren't exactly forthcoming with geometry charts.
The seat was slammed when I went to see it and I didn't bother test riding it as it was pissing with rain.
I'm going to give it a tidy up, make it a bit sort of Guv'nor-ish and try and punt it on.
Bars flipped over, rack and skirt guards removed.
Rear hub needs adjusted/serviced, the dynamo wire had been pulled out the fork and zip tied to the leg so I’ve rectified that. Needs a bulb in the lamp and the cables shortening.
Shame it’s too small, would have been a nice wee project.
Yes that’s a 20.5 = small. There’s a worldwide conspiracy to always misrepresent the size of pashley bikes. It’s amazing how powerfully confusing it is to have a slightly higher bottom bracket. If it’s a 5 speed be careful of adjustments, don’t touch it if it’s not broken!
