Curious about this too. Not impressed with the sound quality in mine. Noise cancelling and user experience is good, but the sound is proper meh

I’ve upgraded.
Noise cancellation is significantly better. Really blocks out all office noise. Noticeably more quiet.
That helps with sound quality so not sure if the sound is actually better or NC means you can hear more detail.
Either way, with the NC improvements and volume change gestures, I’m happy with the upgrade.
