Yeah should be the same fit, do you mean Steerer tube a.k.a. fork not the stem?
-
• #12080
That’s the one. Mine is the H&H one which was £30 or so from BikeGang, but the copies are probably just as good

H&H mini rack here too. I like it, not perfect and definitely not a huge platform for carrying anything but for making it easier to roll around a supermarket then so much better. I also added some larger diameter wheels (the Joseph Kousac ones) just because I already had a pair on the bike and wanted it to match. Remember to budget in wheels, as they aren’t included with the rack.

I've been pondering one of these cheap Aliexpress ones too. Haven't found many reviews out there other than for the H&H one.

Yeah, they’re not for carrying anything, they just make it much more stable to roll the bike around.

fan of both, but do like being able to trust strapping a bag to the rack, not so comfortable doing so on the alix one!

Morning all. I see Conti Urbans are the tyre of choice, but what's the going rate for a pair? Might be interested in folding and/or non-black wall versions if that changes things. Thanks

Coaster brake wheel anyone?
Sun cr18 rim with Shimano cb-e110 hub.
Torque arm flipped so it sits just right in line with the chainstay.
13t cog included.
Double nut on the driveside to hold the tensioner down (it's not the most common thread).
Will see if I have a torque arm clip, otherwise they are only a quid or two I’m sure.
£50 posted?

Cheers. For the price I think I'll give one a try. My Brompton is pretty much stock weight anyway so a bit of a rack won't make much difference.
I assume you just have to unscrew the wheel or something from the stock mudguard.

Looking to change my S-type flat bars to gain some height, are mid rise Joseph Kuosac bars the way to go? Assume I'll have to change cables?
-
• #12099
mid rise are the obvious choice because its a known entity,
M type cables, keep the reach of an S type, will need to trim the bars unless you use a rack / bigger easy wheels
-
• #12100
Doing the opposite, gonna put some post-17 M-bars to get it lower!
The wee AliExpress racks are great. Just stick 4 EZ wheels on and off you go. My wife and I have them on ours.
