Maybe not exactly the right thread, but, I picked up some Q acoustics ceiling speakers cos they were cheap and I wanted music in the kitchen and they sound pretty good, but the sound travels a lot upstairs (bare floorboards at the minute which isnβt helping). Is there a good reason NOT to fit some kind of ICE soundproofing stuff in the gap around them?
