This sounds like an Ed Miliband authored policy, so you can bet the Blairites won't be happy either. Although one suspects they won't be happy until they've destroyed every last vestige of the party.

Most of the conservative governments in Europe have made efforts to nationalise growth in renewables...always felt a bit mental that the UK conservatives weren't interested in it. It makes perfect sense in terms of long term energy security.
