I've got a standard Victorian terrace. I'd like to be able to use the side return in the winter for drying clothes, doing stuff on my bike, DIY, etc. without being rained on (and possibly shelter from the sun in the summer).
I don't want anything permanent but was pondering getting a retractable awning to go out from the side wall to cover most of the side passage. Anyone any thoughts on whether this would look shit, is a great idea, there is a better idea I've missed, etc
Prices for this kind of thing seem to vary wildly so would also be interested if anyone had any recommendations, cheers
