Bear in mind, you might have to sister joists. Bath in current position might be supported by 4 joists, if you rotate it would only be 2.
Ah. OK, point. I believe the joists run lengthways under the bath (so currently it is only supported by two), but could be wrong. How usual is it for joists to run the same way in all rooms except the bathroom?
No idea ha. A quadrant rectangle tray might make it feel like less of a corridor to basin.
