  • This new Al Jazeera piece on the anti-semitism psyop is good.

Al Jazeera’s Investigative Unit uncovers the true story behind the “crisis of anti-Semitism” that engulfed the British Labour Party under Jeremy Corbyn. It made him appear unfit to govern and led to a crushing electoral defeat.

An analysis of internal party documents, social media data and covert recordings reveals how senior Labour officials used the party’s procedures to undermine support for Jeremy Corbyn and to silence debate about Israel’s treatment of Palestinians.
The files also show how pro-Israel groups ask the party to distance itself from the Boycott Divest and Sanctions campaign, a protest movement that seeks to end Israel’s occupation of Palestinian lands, and how - in response - the Jewish Board of Deputies was assured that Labour would “never accept attempts to exceptionalise and deligitimise Israel.”

  • anti-semitism psyop

Do you understand how deeply offensive it is for the victims of antisemitism in Labour - I remember one guy who was under the age of 18 and found himself doxxed to Stormfront as a result of this - for you to refer to the problem and response as a 'psyop'?

Even the reprehensible document which doxxed that guy accepted that antisemitism was a genuine problem. The EHRC judgement accepted it. Even Corbyn accepted it, even if he minimised it.

Referring to it as a psyop is literally gaslighting Jewish people.

Imo it's an antisemitic statement - it effectively says Jewish people cannot be trusted to tell the truth about their own experience of antisemitism, and the implication that the media response was somehow 'controlled' is very dodgy territory given the long standing tropes about Jewish people secretly running the world. Genuinely, fix yourself up.

  • did you not watch the documentary either?

do you understand how deeply offensive it is to accuse a jewish person whose family has died in the holocaust for antisemitism (anti-zionism)? the report clearly states a jewish member of the party was six times more likely to be investigated for antisemitism than a non-jewish member. isn't this a bit backwards? hate to break it to you but criticizing the state of israel and its politics doesn't equal antisemitism. if you listened what the diaspora has to say you'd understand this.

do you even begin to understand how much more problematic the anti-islam rhetoric widely prevalent in the cabinets is and how much more it hurts brown/palestinian lives within the party and elsewhere? of course you don't because you're blinded by your anglo-exceptionalist status-quo-guarding tendencies.

it's not just implicated, but also proven the media response was controlled. again, you'll learn this by watching the documentary.

didn't expect this many israel bots to emerge on a cyclist forum lol.
