    Ok, maybe a slight exaggeration, but would you spend money on one if buying a ‘new’ Mac?

  • It's not a slight exaggeration, it's bullshit (no offense).

    And yes, if I was on a limited budget as OP stated abve (1000 or a bit more for phone and computer) then I'd go ahead and get a refurbished iPhone and a used (intel) Mac because everything else like shiny new iMac, Studio etc. would be out of the question.
