So, who’s splurging then. Imagine there might be quite a crossover for city-working shire-living commuters: https://www.brompton.com/barbour-x-brompton
I do quite like the updated bags

Really don't like the colour!

Just ordered a stronger spring shifter kit!

Think I’ll stick with my brass spur cycle one, even if it doesn’t fit as nicely!

Of the bike? Yeah, it’ll get mucky very quickly. Sure it looks nice in a showroom.

Yes the colour of the bike amble sands. In fact the whole collaboration, really not my thing!

Anyone have any experience with the P line bikes? Going to get one as i loved my old S2L and can do cycle scheme now.
Whats the new gearing like (got to be better than the old derailleur).
Any comments appreciated.

Oh.
4spd as well?
-
• #12064
imho the gearing on the p line works OK and I prefer the weight difference and ease of getting the wheel off compared to the hub gear...

Aftermarket mech is better than the new 4 speed; slow loud shifting..
As a bike it’s quite nice, but I think there’s better improvements they could have made

Does anyone know the weight of the p line cr-mo seatpost?
Looking at one on the bay, advertised as being off a p line, which is 414g which leads me to think is standard not p line. -
• #12067
standard seatpost fitted to the P line; T line gets the upgrade

Thanks for clarification.

New rear wheel for the bike I’ve got a coaster on currently.
I’ll be selling the coaster brake wheel if anyone fancies giving it a shot.

Which kit do you recommend? I have a 2 speed currently and would like a bit more range.
Don’t really wanna loose the integration of the standard shifter though. Anyone making a kit that will work with a p line shifter? -
• #12074
You can convert your stock shifter; see photos attached.
You then just need a barrel nut; TPW Anchorage or pre 2017 anchorage, 11 speed chain and a new gear cable.

what are people using to make rolling around the brompton easier?
are any of the aliexpress racks any good?
seems like a strap might help but i am struggling to justify £20-40 pounds for that
Sorry I meant in general they are sold together. You seem to be the only exception!
