Topkek loves functional bikes

Went on my first longer ride on the Kona yesterday:

• brakes are working very well despite being lower range Shimanos
  
• the Sram X-sync2 chainring feels great, and have been smooth and silent right from the start.
  
• the overall fit is good, I just need to get used to the wider bars. But no pain after 3,5 hours.
  
• the tires. They are really good. Roll extremely well on tarmac, and have good grip on steep ascents. 29x2.25 at 25 PSI.
  
• while the not-level pizza rack hurts my eyes a little, stuff stay put in the basket even on rough terrain.
