I use a pawfit, GPS signal is pretty good, I like the app and it's a nice neat device. Their customer service is great too. Had a faulty device and as soon as I'd sent them proof of postage they sent a new one out and I got it the next day. Thanks. I was doing some research and like others this is really GSM not GPS. I'm not sure why they all call then GPS. We don't get much phone signal here. It seems the Garmin, or just using one of my trackers might work best.
I've got a dog trace x20 its been brilliant gps collar for - 10 metre accuracy 12 mile range battery lasts for days. Same tech as garmin as far is i can see but almost half price. I think the company is Spanish. So probably even cheaper if your over there
