Love Son. Great article about him, his father and their football academy in South Korea.

He's a bit fucking unstable on his feet to be called classy imho.

• #162383
Outrageous shape right?!

Not a spurs dan by any means but that unsteady in your feet goes pretty much every striker. They have all done it. I don't see Son as worse than others.

Anyone read Rory Smith's Expected goals book yet?
I suspect a few here will really love it -

When are you lot done mourning? I'd like to see some Christian Eriksen action soon

When are you lot done mourning?
Tonight's match was dreadful, though thankfully a decent result, and is the black armband now an integral part of the England kit?

building up to the world cup nicely
at least we have human rights in qatar as a good excuse why we will be coming home early, poor sir harry couldn't see straight with all the tears in his eyes for the 6,500 people who died while building the world cup

Arsenal women Vs the spuds today at the Emirates, 51000 tickets sold, might break the record of 53000 set back in the 1910s.
Welcome to the future.

So Ivan Toney got an England call up why? Not even giving him a stoppage time debut.

" Luke Shaw says England and Manchester United team-mate Harry Maguire receives more criticism than he has "ever seen before in football". Centre-back Maguire made mistakes in the build-up to two of Germany's three goals .. "
hmm i wonder if these two facts might somehow be related
are there any stats on maguire mistakes that lead to goals over the last 2/3 years and how that compares to other defenders, he does seem to have been " out of form " for a few years now

Shocking form for maguire who was one of England's best players at the last euros. Don't see him winning his way back onto Uniteds first 11

Hang on, Luke Shaw had to deal with Jose. I’m guessing he knows what “a lot of criticism” looks like.

What kompromat has Maguire got on Southgate to still be getting picked 🤷♂️
-
• #162396
Maguire's always had an error in him, but usually has enough cover for it not to make too much of an impact. Tends to weigh in with set-piece goals fairly regularly, too which also covers over the problems. That said, with a decent midfield screen and a settled defence he's a pretty good player. Gaz southgate's been chopping and changing a bit recently so I think maguire's struggled.

Nick Pope not exactly aceing his audition for the number 1 shirt, either.
