Those Mizuno Wave look pretty good, will consider them for next time along with Scott trainers.
What's the sizing like on mizuno shoes? Size up/down or spot on?@Sainsburys_Ed yeh I'll probably end up using them. Few folk including yourself seem to rate them.

Mizuno fit true to size the Diachis aren't for deep mud but are an excellent tough trail shoe. Their wave rider road shoe was also my longest lasting high mileage road shoe. Mizuno have some great shoes in their range as it's not all about flagship carbon plated super shoes but for some reason they're less popular as a brand than they used to be. Good news for buyers though as they often come up on sale from most of the big online outlets.
I'll run my endorphin trails to death over the winter just because i have them now but for £160 there's plenty to complain about yet my more expensive pros are worth every penny. Unless the trails pop up somewhere massively discounted i wouldn't recommend them to anyone at anywhere near rrp. I'm done with Saucony trail shoes now too. I've had better from asics and mizuno for half or less what these cost. I can live with the Nikes soles wearing out because i really enjoy running in them. For durability Mizuno wave Diachis are great I've got a 3 year old pair i just can't kill.
