I mean similarly, I wouldn't recommend a newcomer buy an £80 second hand Classic!
I do agree that it seems pretty overkill for a filter setup of course. It's actually kind of refreshing to see someone put a fair bit of effort (well, money) as opposed to espresso for their home setup. I'd be willing to bet they'll have a better (and for sure more consistent) experience with their filter setup than the average espresso newcomer.
Oh yes, was just saying that costs wouldn’t need to be as high as that for a good espresso set up, also illustrated by @Nef
