Idk. I'm gonna stand firm on this one. Mine got knocked over parked and it took me a year to get round to working out how to fix the bars and throttle, so was left unused. Carb clean and it was aok.
Generally people like them. Plus they're quick, and have a good top speed. Personally, if I was going to potentially keep a 125cc for a while I'd want discs and a good top speed. CBR125 would also be up there along with whatever that little suzuki dirt bike style one which is really fast is.
Ultimately you need to do maintenance on any bike you ride.
I’m quite sure the local mechanics have seen some issues that are typical of budget bikes. Or maybe you just need to baby them more than a Jap offering. I could be wrong, maybe they aren’t as bad as I say.
