I’m no expert on leather straps (or anything for that matter) but the strap feels quite light and thin.

I’ve tried on my brothers IWC and the leather strap has a nice weight and thickness….I’m probably comparing apples with pears here…

Is it unreasonable to expect similar quality from the after market leather strap?

I got this two stitch one and it feels quite substantial. Not far off original quality

Nice one. I'm enjoying my mars from time to time. Picked up some Aliexpress rubber straps that I prefer to the supplied one.

Yeah I was in Edinburgh for work so just strolled in on way back to the train. They didn’t have any of the dark faces left.

They were chucking out one guy who’d been in already and got one, as I went in. Staff said it had been the bane of their lives.

I think this series will be a big seller for them over time once the supply issues settle down. I'd probably get a dark body one to go with the red if I can just walk in a buy it.
