Oh but I did see a whole bunch of bike squads out for group rides on the Essex lanes near work which made me feel better at least.
Including a group who were clearly well into their 60s-70s but would rather be out on their sit-up-and-beg pinarellos and ‘nags than flag waving.

I went for a ride this morning to Chichester and there was lots of people out, saw a few police around but not stopping anyone.

Cafe Nero only place on high street open that I saw. Chatted to some tourists from France who were a bit upset their only day in the city was today before ferry home tomorrow.
