Not really. I've had a few and they're generally cheap but perfectly usable. Not exactly rare or collectable afaik.

I had one, it was very well made for what it was.
A cheap freewheel hub that came on a pre-built wheel for a budget priced MTB. Much better than quando or stuff like that. Seemed to be a similar in quality to a shimano deore or similar, nice hub shell and very smooth bearing surfaces.
No big deal, but like I said just a cheapo hub built more like a moderately cheap hub.

Ta. LBS has matching bearing in stock so will try that route first. If that fails I now know where to look for the whole freehub.

Can anybody help me with information on Bitex hubs?
I have never heard about them. I know now that they come from Taiwan, but are they any good quality?
