I have a Bosch performance cx motor. It's a beast. But put it in eco mode and it's chill, just there helping a bit.
I'd be going for the strongest motor i could if I lived anywhere but somewhere flat or carried light loads only or couldn't afford ep8.
i think they are just saying because of the increased torque from ep8 you can get it going from more of a standstill. makes sense for the emtb use-case
And that's a great point. For a loaded cargo in a city that's such a vital thing.
