My condor, I picked the frame up via the forum and have enjoyed three summers of riding it so far.

There is a 58 on ebay at the mo, looks like fairly decent spec and condition - might be able to get it to fit you?
Edit - and in fact a London based 61, with 11 hours to go and 0 bids...!

Cheers but I actually want an old rim brake version with the bands on the seat tube to match a vintage condor I’ve got. In all honesty I have no space for another bicycle so I should really forget about my Fratello fantasy for a while…….
Would be perfect for winter though

Looks great. How’s the braking on carbon rims in the dry? I know they can be sketchy in the wet, but have you ever felt unsafe in dry conditions?

For those who have bought new Condors recently, how was the free fitting service? Was it a short ten min session or was it a proper 60-90 min bike fit that looked at multiple aspects of fit?

does it matter? at the end of it you get an OTP frame.

Depends whether you end up with the right size or not.

I had a free bike fit was almost a couple of years ago now and the only bike fit I’ve every had so I’m no expert, think it was around 30mins, maybe shorter then I was expecting but I do remember getting into the shop late afternoon with no prior booking.
I still use the recommended position & I am a lot more comfortable since fit & bicycle purchase so can’t complain. -

Makes sense. Thanks.

no, I've always felt safe in the dry. i'm probably over cautious with breaking but have ridden them down descents in Mallorca and North Wales and have had no issues with either part from the occasional squeak.

Hopeful new member of the Condor club. If the cycle 2 work comes through i'll potentially be a proud owner of this Condor Baracchi 55cm.

Nice! Pity about the choice of background for the pic tho

I've got a Tempo which I run SS with a rear brake. I'm trying to find a rear rack that fits. I've tried a Topeak super tourist dx but the supporting rods to the seat stays foul the rear brake. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks! -

I've had plenty clearance on my tempo for whatever rear rack.
How close are we talking? Can you just bend the supports a bit. I've bent them plenty for other bikes and had no issues

Well, the eyelets are directly in line with the brake arm, where the barrel adjuster is. I'm going to try and swap it for a Tortec rack as the supporting arms have a 45 degree upward bend in them so this should clear the brake. Cheers WhitleyJay!

That is a lovely bike.
(tells me I need to put the deep carbon wheels in my Italia RC - might look right at home!)

I think it's an Airplane from 2002
So good. Love the paint! Would look awesome with a modern groupset?
