Don't think you can in the same way as I'm replying to you now, but if you copy what you want to reply to was and either use the quote button at the top of the text box or just paste everything after a > at the beginning of be a paragraph it'll read like a reply.

is probably your best bet (should still work regardless of whether people are on ignore which means that the post numbers are different for different people)
