  • Yeah it's really unfortunate. This is still a good, well specced machine with a good GPU. Obviously still a very capable and useful machine. But yeah, M1 chip / platform has changed everthing Mac wise, it's good in the long run in terms of power efficiency and performance.

    But it's really changed the value/price of everything before it, and it really sucks in these situations where you want to sell old Intel hardware. I have the same era Macbook pro that i'm in the same pickle with.
