I've got these wheels for sale @mattyc, pair of Ultegra hubs, 11speed (one gunmetal and one grey/silvery), built on H plus son archetypes in grey ano, done about a thousand km. £200?

Few changes to my Simoncini, otherwise known as the multi-coloured clown bike. New crank/chainring combo, new seatpost, new Pirelli tyres and finished off with the oh so important yellow valve caps :)

I'd love to see that on the roof rack of a harlequin VW

Thanks folks, the bike brings a smile to face before I've got aboard, and it rides great with the Max fork and SLX frame.

@mr_lunch haha not got a pic yet but its a 57cm frame which is as small as I'll ride, so I'd say at least 3 on the scoble brick scale. :)

@Sig_Arlecchino blimey sir your eyes are good! Yes exactly that, I found the crank on eBay a few years ago like that, with no rings. It has a few chips on the back side so it is defo alu not carbon, but considering I've had it a few years (its was on my MX Leader on previous page for the last few years) its lasted pretty well, and with the Campagnolo lettering is good effort if it was a home-done job, and I've never seen another and think it looks great. The chainring is a black Campagnolo one from the later gen crank with the 5 bolts visible and not 1 hidden by the crank arm as in this version.

Thanks for the insight! They suit the bike rather well. Last time I guessed some cranks had a faux carbon wrap, they turned out to be some ultra rare prototype shimano 7800s.

Crashed forks

I bought this from the forum classifieds a few weeks ago....

...stripped it and put it back together with 28c tyres, 20 speed Campag in a mish-mash of black, silver and ti/gunmetal/graphite or other words the marketing department insist on using instead of grey, but I'm pleased with how it turned out.

With poser summer wheels....

...but as summer is now over, thanks to @fly for the deal on these more appropriate winter wheels
