  • Pretty sure they're impossible to get over here now, before I bought my bullitt I was eager to try a douze but I would have had to go to France for one, I don't think that's changed?

  • Not sure, possible. They had issues with supply during and post COVID as I was asking them about replacing the front-end on ours for a longer one and gave up! London Green Cycles seem to have stopped supplying them. I think there are a few "electric" bikes shops that stock/sell them now, but these would be electric models only of course, but they can get other models in.

These have a shop in Acton which I visited:

@Vince has a Douze and whilst he was in France in (his/a) van he's bought some bits for his Douze as I assume they're easier to get hold of and cheaper?

  • You can order straight from Douze & they charge RRP so it's their dream situation.

My Douze is going for a service at London Green Cycles this Friday so I will ask if they still stock

  • Been trying to become a Douze dealer for 3 years now, they arent taking on new dealers anywhere in UK afaik, LGC I think could still get them but don't stock as they're still isn't much stock to get, and with brexit, it's hard for smaller companies like Douze and LGC (or any other UK retailer) to bring in single digit bikes per year, especially when elsewhere within EU is really simple to send their stock to existing retailers. It's not Douze being difficult, it's just the way things are now.
