    I wore some Clark’s suede brogues to a job interview the other for about an hour. I have two blisters on my left heel and one massive one on my right

  • Wear shoes in gradually before wearing for a long period.

    If you have to wear them without an adequate wearing in period then there are loads of blister plasters which you can put on in the places where shoes rub. They swell before you blister.

  • You could make the heel areas supple by moisturizing them with suede conditioner and squishing them with your thumbs.

  • whats the sole? I've always found Clarks a bugger to break in... if the soles aren't flexing enough yet then this could be the problem, try bending them with your hands for a bit... might work?

    From the photo you posted below, it looks like your shoes are too stiff and aren’t following the movement of your foot as you walk. You’ll need to fold your shoes in half about 10-15 times before you wear them to loosen up the sole and increase the flexibility. Surprisingly you can really force decent shoes a lot and get the flexibility in them. Keep doing this each time before you wear them until you feel you don’t get any rubbing.
