Currently sitting in France with these bad boys but my eyes were drawn to @Jingle_Jangle ‘s Gios Torino 62cm for sale. A big Gios Torino is the only other bike I would now ever buy

Incidentally, I have a Gios Torino Super Record with full Campag SR groupset. Rides beautifully, have used it at l’eroica and the RetroRonde but has been languishing in the shed. I bought it as a 64 but it’s stamped 66 on the b/b shell (fits me fine at 6’2” with an aesthetically pleasing saddle height). Paint is original, a bit fragile but to be expected on an almost 50 year old bike.
Would be sad to see it go but it should be ridden. Here’s a self-celebratory photo but can provide more details if anyone is seriously interested.

Thanks Big Ted

Yep Ted is right. I bought the frameset a few years back from @Lanterne_Rouge on here. It is built up with Campag Veloce with the exception of the crank which is a 180mm carbon record. Wheels are Zondas.
I can in all honesty say it is the best bike I’ve ever ridden. -

Ooh Ted, I really like that.

A Pelforth, you must be in or around at the moment Brittany? If you ever sell the EM track bike you know when I am. Glad to see the Weinmann is getting the miles in.

Down in the Charente in a town called Chalais for a month. Pelforth is the go -to beer after a bit of hard labour.
Your initials are pencilled on the underside of the Pista bb -

I’ve had a few Corsa Extras over the years, lots of memorable rides (Galibier in a thunderstorm, Stelvio with two feet of sparkling fresh road either side of smooth blacktop), always sold them as they were a touch small.
This Team Weinmann looks perfect though and incredibly keen price on that link!!!

any pics and prices please?
Me too. At 6'6" I've spent a lot of time squinting at old steel bikes on ebay, trying to convince myself that with a few adjustments they'll be fine. I even bought a few. I'm guessing I might be in the shorter end of people who could comfortably ride that.
It's kind of cool but also has a loud freak-bike-for-lanky-freaks vibe. Almost theft proof though - no thief will be able to get their leg over the crossbar.
