It is insurance season again.
Seems to be a complete roll of the dice with quotes.
Auto-Renewal was £260 (down a fiver from last year)
Did a direct quote and it came back as £290, without the £70 breakdown cover (so nearly £100 more than last year)
Tapped up the meerkats and got lots of quotes under £150 (without breakdown)
Went to Carole Nash directly and got a £300+ quote using the same details as the comparison site.
Followed the comparison site links and got it for £145.
Getting closer to the old TransAlp premiums (680cc, £90/year)
(did some shit maths and the Transy insurance was £1.52 per hrspwr and the Trumpet is £1.07)
