Lots of lore about Brooks saddles as a quick Google on proofide will testify. Did any come with the saddle?

Bought second hand, never had a brooks before so have no idea what to do or expect. Will look into proofide! Cheers

Do the proofide thing once or twice a year or when necessary particularly the underside if you don't have mudguards. For leaving it out in inclement weather use a blue shoe cover from your local swimming pool to avoid any soaking up of water. Avoid leaving it wet as mould will start.
