For sale is my wife’s gravel bike (which quite quickly also became my daughter’s makeshift/temporary cx bike). My other half has pretty much abandoned cycling these days (and my daughter isn't pursuing cross any further), so she has asked me to sell it on her behalf. I’m trying here before FB/eBay.
It’s a Cannondale Topstone 2, size XS, in the (imo) rather funky ‘rainbow trout’ pearlescent finish. It was bought in March 2021 (receipt available). We paid £1650.
In brief, it’s full GRX 400 (2x10sp, 46/30 & 11-34) with hydraulic discs and C’dale’s own brand finishing kit. It's got a decent enough alloy frame and the fork is carbon.
The bike is spec'd as standard, with the exception of the following mods:
Stock 80mm stem changed to 90mm
Stock saddle changed to a generic Cervelo from my stash (my wife preferred it to the stock Fabric)
Tyres changed to tubeless Schwalbe X-One 33 for cross (used about 5 times). I may have the stock WTBs in the shed, but would need to check. If you buy the bike and want them, and can find them, they're yours (FOC).
This has been well used, and there are a number of cosmetic marks (see pics), but everything is in perfect working order. It's also had a brake and gear service last week in preparation for sale.
I must say it's a surprisingly capable little bike. It's too small for me, but a quick 10km mixed surface loop to check everything works well had me genuinely impressed. If it was a size bigger I'd be very tempted to keep it for myself :-)
We’re asking £975, collection from Tring, or meet within a 45 min drive (not central London). I can also meet at Tring, Berkhamsted, or Hemel stations No splitting or p/x, I'm afraid.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:

Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
