Finally got the opportunity to ride the Time in its natural habitat. Quite a joy to climb and descend on it.

Beautiful scenery.
Obviously the stem is correct but it would look nicer with a skinny alloy stem I reckon -

Yeah, it‘s gonna be hard to enjoy the rides around Berlin after that... Regarding the stem, we‘ve had this discussion before :D

Gorgeous, both the bike and the scenery.
Please enlighten me, where is this?

Lol didn't even see the comment two above. It was a couple of years ago though so it's about time I said it again anyway

Bedankt :) switzerland, wallis region, val d‘anniviers. The first 4 pictures are from a ride to lac de moiry, a reservoir just below the Moiry glacier. The last one was taken on a ride from Grimentz to Veysonnaz. Here‘s a few more shots I took on some hikes:

What a scenery, wow!

Do you have any GPX routes saved anywhere?
Looks great - I've been there loads but never done much cycling. Road up to Moiry was closed last time I was there with a bike (bang on one year ago), would love to cycle up to it some time.

I used kml files from outdooractive in maps.me but they’re available as GPX files as well. Here’s the ride to Lac de Moiry
And here’s the one from St. Luc to Veysonnaz - I did an variation of that: started in Grimentz and rode to Veysonnaz and back to Grimentz.
And did another ride from Grimentz to Chandolin and back - but I don’t have a route for that one. -

Worth a visit if you need a change from the flat netherlands :)

As for the Bike, I’m really happy how it performed. Reach was spot on with the BDHU tweak. I’m glad I didn’t slam the stem when I rode in the drops downhill. Stiff enough for the climbs yet forgiving enough on some rougher surfaces on the downhills. The 34/28 low gear was just enough and a good motivation to keep some momentum. 50/11 was a little undergeared on the downhills, a 52t would have been nice but not strictly necessary.

In my mind, Cancellara's riding this Time in the descent. Painted yellow tho

This turned up in the post yesterday.
Sorry for thread hijack, this was the closest i could find to a time thread. I don't think there is one?

It's about Time you made one perhaps...

Great frameset, don’t mind the hijacking, feel free to post some pics when it’s built :)

Really nice. No holes so I'm guessing wireless?

Only no holes as previous owner had used a putty to fill them.
Managed to get most of the putty out pretty easily. I emailed carbon bike repair about bonding on some cable stops but they're not able to do it (liability). I could probably do it myself, but it would be ugly af.
Can't really afford AXS and 11 speed etap seems to be almost as expensive 2nd hand.
So going to go di2. Going down to LBS tomorrow to remove the BB bearings to see if the di2 battery holder is still in the frame. If it is then happy days, if not will have to come up with some sort of solution to hold the battery in place.
Got some 55mm Light Bicycle / Hope wheels for it, an integrated carbon handlebar (50/50 if I actually use it). and most importantly, this saddle...

I'm not feeling the saddle. eBay knock-off?

looks legit imo. full carbon. agree it might not go, but it says TIME so big I had to buy it.
Thanks :) Tbh, I initially hated the bulky look of the stem and used an ITM millenium stem instead. But after a while I came to appreciate the time stem from an engineering pov: it has a large and evenly distributed clamping area without any sharp edges and its pretty light. It also makes the bike feel more comfy than the itm stem from what I can tell + it matches the rest of the bike. Still need to tweak the reach a little by either bringing the hoods up a little more or getting some slightly shorter reach bars. What is probably even more important is getting used to a road bike position again after riding almost exclusively with upright 26ers for the last 12 months...
